2008 Brit Awards Red Carpet Fashion

It’s a big night in London, England. And whether you’re anywhere near Earl’s Court you may want to stop by, as there’s certain to be plenty of celebrity sightings at that evening’s Brit Awards.

Among the bevy of famous and beautiful society in the house was none other than Kylie Minogue. The awesome Aussie singer showed up in a gorgeous black knee-length dress and plenty of bling on her neck and ears.

Also in attendance was Rihanna. Following the short dress trend, the “Umbrella” singer rocked a cute silver garment with matching strappy shoes and her trademark smile.

D&G Fall 2008 Ready to Wear Collection

MILAN, The second line D&G collection was presented. Monday was pretty dignified for the designing duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, who just several days ago had called the current Milan fashion scene a "circus." The designers made up for that with seventies-ish denim flares (the best jeans of the season so far), Mongolian lamb vests, and tunics belted over skinny pants that belled below the ankle, rendered in riotously colored paisley velvets there was also pretty maidens dressed in kilts, ruffled blouses, sporty knits, sensible boots and the unmistakable printed silk scarf tied under the chin..

Lindsay Lohan Poses – as Marilyn Monroe

Shedding her clothes for the cause, Lindsay Lohan paid homage to the legendary Marilyn Monroe by recreating the late star’s final nude photo-shoot.

For the shoot, which was done by famed photographer Bert Stern (who also shot Monroe’s ‘The Last Sitting’ in 1962), Lohan stripped off her duds, donning a blonde Marilyn wig for the sexy New York magazine spread.

Covering up at times with see-through scarfs, LiLo previously said that she was “comfortable” with the nude shoot, but confessed to doing 250 sit ups the night before as a final preparation.

“I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor,” Lohan tells.

Lohan also compared Marilyn Monroe and Heath’s Ledger’stragic deaths, saying: “They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”-celebrity-gossip.net/

Fast forward 46 years and New York Magazine has attempted to duplicate this montage with Lohan as the centerpiece. Why is the publication comparing the Firecrotch Queen to the iconic actress? It’s unclear. Each celebrity is known for sleeping around, of course. And each has dabbled in the occasional drug.

Fendi were celebrating the opening of their redesigned Rodeo Drive Flagship Store yesterday and celebrated with a party – what else? Dressed in Fendi spring 2008 dresses, the star actresses followed their own style instincts while looking fabulous on the red carpet. Mandy Moore's chose simple black dress with ribbon tie detail at the sleeve with her gorgeous black and gold lace-up peep toes! Lindsay Lohan chose a cutting edge Fendi halter dress featuring a stripe and circular pattern fitted halter neck with a tight bodice and chiffon skirt in black and grey. And lastly, Rose McGowan looking like a princess in her yellow and silver prom dress with big netted skirt with a full skirt featuring a stone detail belt.. Love them!

Kylie Minogue and Keira Knightley Win Elle Awards

"If you happened to be in West London last night, you probably noticed an influx of beautiful people. That’s because the Elle Style Awards were being held in Notting Hill.

And entertainment’s brightest and best were honored with their very own Elle. Kylie Minogue was named the “Woman of the Year” and looked stunning in a strappy belted gown and short blonde bob."

“Pirates of the Caribbean” actress Keira Knightley took home the “Best Actress” trophy, while her “Atonement” co-star James McAvoy claimed the title “Best Actor.”

And they even gave out an award to a Yankee - Kate Hudson was named “Elle Style Icon” for her “distinctive and kooky” fashion sense. Also in attendance were Kelly Brook, Holly Willoughby, and Louise Redknapp.
